 Brown Eyes
I walked through the doorway
and much to my surprise,
There she stood my
beautiful little brown eyes.
With a smile that could tame
the meanest of man,
This little darling
has captured me again.
She said, “come on,“
As she led me away,
She already had plans of
what to do today.
We played hide-n-seek
and watched superman,
She talked and talked
just like a little one can.
Then she decided it
was time for bed,
She covered me up and said
“lay down your head.”
This little girl is really
such a treat,
So beautiful, so smart
and oh so sweet!
