 Jesus and Me
When I gave my heart to Jesus, He said
“My friend, you are mine,”
Forever and always in paradise
brighter than the sun, you will always shine!”
When I saw His nail scared hands
and where the sword pierced His side,
I realized how much He loved me
rivers of tears for my Savior I cried.
Oh yes, He loves me
oh how much He loves me,
He gave His very
life to set me free.
Oh yes He loves
oh so much He loves me,
I will bow before
Him on bended knee.
My Savior gave me hope
in a world where there is none,
He said, “to come onto me
for I am the Father’s only Son.”
He brought me peace and happiness
He gave me joy I had never known,
He told me from this day forward
never again would I have to walk alone.
