 Reach for the Light
How long will someone wander
lost in the darkness of night,
Falling because they can’t see
before they reach for the light?
Some will never learn
they’ll struggle their life away,
Cursing their constant misfortune
never seeing the brightness of day.
Others can’t see their objective
because their eyes are glued to the ground,
They wander into every blind canyon
because they won’t look up and see what’s around.
But that’s why God sent the Savior
to be our eternal light,
To lead us out of the canyons and
through the long dark nights.
