Man's Dream World
Man is a dreamer from the
first light of day,
It maybe of heroic deeds or
that his wife will do things his way.
Either of which has a chance
of slim to none,
In his lifetime of
ever being done.
That doesn’t stop us from wanting
to be the man of the hour,
Or when walking into our castle
of having a kingly power.
When we act kind of strange and
say that’s the way it will be,
Just ignore us; obviously
we have gotten our dreams mixed with reality.
Or pretend you didn’t hear
and things will be cool,
Since, we’ll still boast to our friends
and sound like a big fool.
