 Young Again
To be young again and so filled with the joy of life,
And know nothing about the pain of grown- up strife.
To be young again and have big happy dreams,
Eagerly awake each morn to see what the new day brings.
To be young again and suddenly realize one day,
You’re growing up your childhood is fading away.
To be young again and know the heart pounding thrill,
Of finding your first love and how so wonderful it feels.
To be young again and once more be strong and fast,
But have all the knowledge of my many years gone past.
To be young again and hear the people say,
I believe you’re now a man I believe it this very day.
